Un cane da caccia, di cui erano state perse le tracce la sera di domenica 4 gennaio, è stato recuperato da una squadra dei vigili del fuoco di Brindisi la mattina del 5. I cacciatori, tornati sul posto lungo la litoranea salentina, si sono rivolti al pompieri per il salvataggio dal momento che il cane era caduto in un pozzo profondo sei metri contenente un metro e mezzo di acqua. Uno di loro si è calato e ha riportato l’animale, molto infreddolito, alla superficie. I vigili del fuoco hanno utilizzato tecniche saf (speleo alpino fluviale) per calarsi all’interno e, una volta recuperato, il cane è stato affidato al proprietario.
