[Großer Ölunfall auf der Ostsee!] Einsatzfahrten zur Ölwehrübung in Neustadt in Holstein
Hier zu sehen, sind Einsatzfahrten der Feuerwehren Neustadt in Holstein und Kellenhusen sowie des THW OV Eutin zu einer Ölwehrübung im Neustädter Hafen.Simuliert wurde ein großflächiger Ölaustritt im Neustädter Hafen. Um eine Ausbreitung auf weitere Teile der Ostsee zu verhindern, wurde die Ölwehr angefordert. Diese setzt sich aus verschiedenen Feuerwehren und THW zusammen. In Schleswig-Holstein gibt es 35 Ölwehren. Davon sind 20 bei freiwilligen Feuerwehren angegliedert, 2 bei Berufsfeuerwehren, 8 bei THW Ortsverbänden, weitere 2 beim LKN (Landesbetrieb für Küstenschutz, Nationalpark und Meeresschutz) und eine bei einer Privatfirma.
Regelmäßig müssen solche Ölwehrübungen bei den verschiedenen Einheiten durchgeführt werden.

A large-scale oil spill in Neustadt harbor was simulated. To prevent the spread to other parts of the Baltic Sea, the oil spill response units were requested. These units consist of various fire brigades and the THW. In Schleswig-Holstein, there are 35 oil spill response units. Of these, 20 are affiliated with volunteer fire brigades, 2 with professional fire brigades, 8 with THW local units, another 2 with the LKN (State Agency for Coastal Protection, National Park and Marine Conservation), and one with a private company.
