NORWEGEN: König Harald V. ist tot – Beliebter Monarch mit 89 Jahren gestorben!
Oslo – Norwegen trauert – um einen Menschen, der mehr als nur ein König war. König Harald (†89), der seit 1991 auf dem norwegischen Thron saß und damit der am längsten regierende Monarch Europas war, ist tot. Das gab der Palast offiziell am Freitagmorgen bekannt.„Mit tiefer Trauer geben wir bekannt, dass Seine Majestät König Harald verstorben ist. König Harald ist am Freitag, dem 28. August, um 6.35 Uhr im Universitätsklinikum Oslo (Rikshospitalet) friedlich eingeschlafen“, teilte der Palast am Freitagmorgen gegen 8.30 Uhr mit.
König Harald war bereits seit dem 17. August – wegen einer Infektion im Blut – stationär behandelt worden. In den vergangenen Tagen hatte sich sein Zustand immer weiter verschlechtert. Königin Sonja und Kronprinz Haakon hatten zuletzt alle Termine abgesagt.
