Menteri Luar Negeri RI Sugiono menilai, Israel telah mengabaikan hukum internasional.
"Saya mengecam keras intersepsi kapal Madleen oleh Israel di perairan internasional saat mengirimkan bantuan kemanusiaan ke Gaza," tulis Sugiono di X, dikutip dari Kompas.com, Selasa (10/6/2025).
Lewat akun media sosial X miliknya pada Selasa (10/6/2025), Sugiono menyebut blokade yang dilakukan Israel baik di darat maupun laut semakin memperburuk bencana kelaparan di Gaza.
Padahal, Mahkamah Internasional (ICJ) telah memerintahkan Israel untuk memastikan bantuan kemanusiaan tersalurkan dengan baik.
Atas masalah ini, Sugiono berkomitmen untuk menyuarakan kembali soal pembukaan jalur bantuan ke Gaza di forum PBB.
Sebelumnya, Israel mencegat kapal Madleen dari Koalisi Armada Kebebasan atau Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) pada Minggu (8/6/2025).
Kapal itu hendak menyalurkan bantuan ke Gaza, Palestina.
Sejumlah tokoh diketahui ikut berlayar naik kapal, seperti aktivis Swedia Greta Thunberg hingga aktor Game of Thrones Liam Cunningham.
Sejumlah negara telah mengecam tindakan Israel mencegat kapal tersebut, mulai dari Turki, Irlandia, Prancis, hingga Swedia.
Saat ini, kapal bantuan tersebut telah digiring ke Pelabuhan Ashdod, Israel di bawah pengawalan militer.
Sementara aktivis yang berada di dalamnya juga ditangkap.
