DEATH VALLEY: Thermometer PLATZEN - Hitze-Rekord bringt die Menschen an ihre Grenzen!In den westlichen USA wurden bei einer historischen frühen Hitzewelle neue Rekordtemperaturen erreicht. Insbesondere im Death Valley stiegen die Temperaturen auf beeindruckende 50 Grad Celsius. Die extremen Wetterbedingungen betreffen zahlreiche Bundesstaaten, darunter Arizona, Kalifornien, Texas und New Mexico. Millionen Menschen wurden vor übermäßiger Hitze gewarnt.
Um den Bewohnern Erleichterung zu verschaffen, wurden öffentliche Gebäude, wie Bibliotheken, als Orte zur Abkühlung geöffnet. Besonders in Arizona führte die Hitze zu ernsthaften Gesundheitsproblemen: Bei einer Kundgebung von Ex-Präsident Donald Trump mussten mehrere Menschen wegen Hitzerschöpfung ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert werden.
Diese Hitzewelle unterstreicht die zunehmenden Herausforderungen des Klimawandels und die dringende Notwendigkeit, Schutzmaßnahmen und Bewusstsein für extreme Wetterereignisse zu fördern.
