Il documento attribuisce a Israele piena libertà d'azione lungo la cosiddetta Linea Gialla, con un mandato che consente alle #IDF di intervenire contro «minacce immediate ed emergenti», e non fissa alcuna scadenza per il ritiro delle truppe israeliane dal sud del Paese. Una circostanza che, secondo diversi analisti, equivale a una resa di fatto della sovranità libanese, mentre a Beirut proseguono le manifestazioni contro l'intesa.
