In this video we're going to see all the logarithm rules you should know to take a calculus course. We define logarithm as the inverse function to the exponential, so if b^x=y then log_b y = x. We really like it when the base is e, and this gives the natural logarithm. There are a bunch of rules like for products and quotients and powers but for all of these you can figure out the logarithm rule by converting to exponents and using your rules for exponents.
