Detik-Detik Ditpolairud Polda Sumut dan BP3MI Gagalkan Penyeludupan 14 PMI di Perairan Aceh
Petugas gabungan Ditpolairud Polda Sumut dan BP3MI Medan berhasil gagalkan kapal ikan yang mengangkut pekerja migran ilegal di perairan Batubara, Sumatera Utara.Kapal tersebut ditangkap bersama dengan 1 orang nahkoda dan 2 anak buah kapal yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Sebanyak 14 pekerja migran ilegal dari Aceh dan Batubara berhasil diamankan dan dibawa ke dermaga Ditpolairud Polda Sumut.
Kasubdit Gakkum Ditpolairud Polda Sumut, Kombes Budi Prasetyo, menjelaskan bahwa penangkapan ini dilakukan berdasarkan laporan masyarakat dan patroli gabungan Ditpolairud Polda Sumut dengan BP3MI Medan.
Kapal ikan tersebut berencana membawa semua PMI ke Malaysia secara ilegal.
Saat ini, ketiga tersangka nahkoda dan anak buah kapal masih menjalani pemeriksaan di kantor Ditpolairud Polda Sumut.
