Ia menilai cara paling tepat untuk menjamin keberlanjutan program tersebut adalah dengan regulasi di tingkat undang-undang.
Mengutip dari Tribunnews pada (1/10) menurut Dadan, MBG seharusnya menjadi kebutuhan berkelanjutan masyarakat.
Bukan sekadar kebijakan yang bisa berubah ketika kepemimpinan berganti.
"Ini kan jangka panjang ya, dan di beberapa negara yang sekarang program sudah jalan itu, dan tidak terbatas oleh periode pemerintahan," kata Dadan di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, Rabu (1/10/2025).
Ia menyebut jika masyarakat menilai program itu bermanfaat, maka jalan terbaik adalah menguatkannya lewat aturan hukum permanen.
Selain itu, Dadan menegaskan program MBG juga harus dimasukkan ke kurikulum sekolah.
Tujuannya untuk membangun pola hidup sehat sejak dini dan menjadikannya bagian dari pendidikan jangka panjang.
Ia mengungkapkan BGN sudah menyiapkan peta jalan pengembangan MBG, yang tidak hanya fokus pada pemberian makanan, tetapi juga pada edukasi.
