US welcomes E3 move on Iran sanctions snapback
There has also been a response from the US Secretary of State to the E3 bloc’s announcement on the reimposition of sanctions on Iran. In a statement, Marco Rubio said the United States welcomes the initiation of the Iran sanctions “snapback” process. He added that the E3 have presented a clear case highlighting Iran’s continued significant non-compliance with its nuclear commitments, and that Washington will work with the E3 and other members of the UN Security Council to see the snapback completed.Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher is reporting live from the White House.
