Demonstrasi dilakukan menuntut agar Bupati Pati, Sudewo, mundur dari jabatannya imbas menaikkan pajak bumi dan bangunan (PBB) hingga 250 persen.
Sudewo sebenarnya sudah membatalkan kebijakan tersebut pada 8 Agustus lalu. Namun pembatalan itu tak mengurungkan niat warga Pati untuk menuntut politikus Partai Gerindra tersebut untuk mundur dari jabatannya.
Hanya saja aksi demo yang disebut dihadiri oleh 100 ribu massa itu kini justru berujung ricuh.
Berdasarkan pantauan di kanal YouTube Tribun Jateng, tampak beberapa massa melempari botol air minum ke arah polisi yang mengenakan tameng dan tengah berjaga di dalam Kantor Bupati Pati.
