MPR Kritik Pernyataan Prabowo soal Kesiapan Indonesia Akui Negara Israel jika Palestina Merdeka

Namun hal itu dilakukan dengan syarat jika Palestina merdeka.
Lantas, pernyataan Prabowo menuai banyak sorotan dari berbagai pihak.
Termasuk Wakil Ketua MPR dari Fraksi PKS Hidayat Nur Wahid (HNW).
Ia meminta Prabowo tidak tergesa-gesa menyampaikan rencana membuka hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel.
Hal itu disampaikan HNW kepada wartawan pada Kamis (29/5).
Pihaknya menegaskan bahwa perjuangan untuk kemerdekaan penuh Palestina harus menjadi prioritas utama Indonesia.
"Terkait pernyataan untuk normalisasi dan buka hubungan diplomatik itu, jangan disampaikan buru-buru sampai betul-betul terealisasinya syarat utama yakni Palestina merdeka secara berdaulat penuh," kata HNW.
Lebih lanjut, ia menyebut pernyataan Prabowo tentang pengakuan terhadap Israel jika Palestina merdeka sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap solusi negara atau twi state solution.
Namun ia mengingatkan bahwa solusi ini sudah lama ditolak oleh Israel.
Meskipun didorong oleh negara-negara Arab sejak 2002.
HNW khawatir bahwa pengakuan terhadap Israel bisa berujung pada pengkhianatan oleh pihak Israel.
Wakil Ketua MPR ini juga mengatakan bahwa masyarakat tidak ingin Prabowo jadi korban Israel.
"Publik tentu tidak ingin Presiden Prabowo jadi korban Israel," ujarnya. HNW
Ia juga mengingatkan pengalaman negara-negara Arab yang lebih dulu menormalisasi hubungan dengan Israel belum menunjukan hasil signifikan bagi kemerdekaan Palestina
Justru sebaliknya, legitimasi terhadap Israel semakin menguat tanpa kemajuan nyata bagi Palestina.
