Relawan Indonesia Batal Berlayar ke Gaza, Namun Kapal Tetap Berangkat
JAKARTA, KOMPASTV Relawan Indonesia tergabung dalam Indonesia Global Peace Convoy, memutuskan menarik diri dari misi ini.Namun kapal Indonesia dikabarkan akan tetap berlayar sebagai bukti solidaritas untuk Gaza.
"Kondisinya selama 12 hari kita menanti berbagai pengunduran dan berbagai masalah teknis non teknis, sampai harinya Indonesia akan menarik diri dari Global Sumud Flotilla. Setelah kami lihat kondisi kapal, kami dapatkan kapal yang tidak layak tidak siap berlayar jarak jauh. Kapal dari Barcelona lalu terkena badai, ombak dan butuh reparasi yang tidak sebentar," jelas Koordinator Indonesia Global Peace Convoy, Muhammad Husein Gaza.
Meski begitu Indonesia tetap hadir dalam solidaritas dunia bagi rakyat Palestina meski tanpa kehadiran langsung relawan di atas kapal.
"Kita memberikan kuota kita kepada mereka yang kami rasa lebih urgent untuk naik. Bagi kami Indonesia sudah kontribusi sejak awal," jelasnya.
