È il 26 dicembre 2004 quando al largo di Sumatra, nell’Oceano Indiano, si innesca il più letale fenomeno sismico della storia. Un terremoto di magnitudo 9.2 provoca uno tsunami con onde alte più di 30 metri, che colpirà 12 Paesi, causando circa 230.000 vittime, di cui 51 italiani.Cos’ha causato un terremoto e un maremoto così devastanti?
