Die NASA will bis 2030 den ersten Reaktor in Betrieb nehmen. Den Auftakt bildet die bemannte Mission Artemis 2: Vier Astronauten fliegen mit der neuen Orion-Kapsel hinter die Mondrückseite – ein symbolträchtiger Testflug. Parallel dazu treibt SpaceX mit Elon Musks Starship eigene Pläne voran: Noch 2026 soll die Superrakete den Orbit erreichen – und sogar eine Marsmission vorbereiten. Die neue Raumfahrtära ist gestartet.
