US-Präsident darf "Kennedy-Center" nicht umbenennenDas Gericht entschied, dass die Umbenennung des renommierten Kulturzentrums ohne Zustimmung des Kongresses rechtswidrig gewesen sei. Zudem stoppte der Richter vorläufig die geplante zweijährige Schließung des Hauses für umfangreiche Renovierungsarbeiten. Trump reagierte empört und sprach von einer unfairen Behandlung durch die Justiz. Nach Angaben aus seinem Umfeld will der US-Präsident die Umbaupläne nun grundsätzlich überdenken. Der Streit um das Kulturzentrum entwickelt sich damit zunehmend zu einem politischen und kulturellen Machtkampf in Washington.
