Kreativdirektor Matthieu Blazy präsentierte 79 Looks im Art-déco-Casino direkt am Strand. Die Kollektion reichte von Badehauben bis zu Meerjungfrauen-Paillettenkleidern. Auch Seemannspullover und Muschel-Elemente gehörten zur Show. Chanel führt laut Lyst-Index aktuell die Liste der heißesten Modemarken an. Für Gesprächsstoff sorgen zudem die neuen Cap-Toe-Heels von Blazy. Nicole Kidman und A$AP Rocky besuchten die Aftershow-Party.
Bei der Met Gala erschien Stella McCartney in einer Robe aus pflanzenbasierten Kunstfedern. Die sogenannten Feathers hatte sie bereits in ihrer Sommer-2026-Show gezeigt. McCartney arbeitet seit mehr als 20 Jahren an nachhaltiger Mode. Jetzt brachte sie erneut eine Kollektion mit H&M heraus.
Das Design Museum London widmet dem Designer Nigo eine große Retrospektive. Mehr als 700 Objekte zeigen seine Arbeit zwischen Streetwear und Luxusmode. Nigo gründete das Label A Bathing Ape und leitet heute das Modehaus Kenzo.
