Ospite di Ignoto X, Antonella Inverno di Save The Children ha commentato l’andamento dei reati tra i minorenni, evidenziando come, pur essendo in diminuzione la criminalità minorile in generale, siano in aumento i reati di natura violenta, come rapine, risse e lesioni personali. “È cambiata la qualità del reato”, ha spiegato, sottolineando come molte aggressioni siano anche gratuite, commesse da ragazzi che spesso mancano di modelli positivi. Inverno ha inoltre ricordato l’importanza della prevenzione e del supporto educativo: molti giovani, ha detto, hanno trovato relazioni autentiche con i propri educatori, che possono fare la differenza nel percorso di giustizia minorile. Riguardo alle violenze segnalate all’interno di alcune strutture detentive, ha sottolineato come questi episodi si verifichino più frequentemente in istituti con grandi numeri, come quelli di Milano e Roma, e quando il rapporto con gli agenti di polizia penitenziaria non è adeguatamente supportato.
