JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Warganet menggaungkan gerakan "Stop Tot Tot Wuk Wuk" di media sosial.Gerakan ini sebagai protes atas maraknya penggunaan sirene dan strobo yang tidak sesuai aturan.
Pengendara kompak tak lagi mengalah pada kendaraan yang menggunakan strobo dalam kondisi tidak darurat.
Apalagi, banyak kendaraan sipil menggunakan strobo dan sirene untuk membelah kemacetan.
Merespons keluhan masyarakat, Mensesneg Prasetyo Hadi bilang pihaknya sudah mengirimkan surat edaran kepada pejabat soal penggunaan sirene dan strobo di jalan raya.
Respons juga diberikan Kepala Korps Lalu Lintas Polri, Irjen Agus Suryonugroho. Ia menegaskan akan membekukan penggunaan strobo dan sirene yang mengganggu pengguna jalan.
Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, ada tujuh kendaraan yang berhak mendapat prioritas di jalan raya.
Di antaranya ambulans mengangkut orang sakit, pemadam kebakaran, kendaraan untuk pertolongan pada kecelakaan lalu lintas, pimpinan lembaga negara, dan kendaraan pimpinan serta pejabat negara asing.
