JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Mantan kader PDIP yang kini sudah masuk Partai Gerindra, Maruarar Sirait (Ara), merespons pernyataan Sekjen PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, yang meminta agar keluarga Presiden ke-7 Joko Widodo (Jokowi) juga diperiksa KPK.
Kata Maruarar, semua lembaga dan instansi sudah tahu soal kewenangan masing-masing, jadi tidak perlu ada pihak yang mengintervensi tindakan penegak hukum.
"Ya kita semua negara hukum wajib mengikuti proses hukum yang ada," kata Ara kepada wartawan di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Jumat (21/2/2025).
Sebelumnya, Hasto melontarkan pernyataan agar keluarga Jokowi diperiksa KPK saat akan digiring ke dalam mobil tahanan. Awalnya dia mengaku tidak pernah menyesal ditahan oleh KPK.
