Selama sepekan terakhir, Brigade Golani dan pasukan cadangan dari Brigade Parasut gencar melakukan latihan di berbagai wilayah.
Melansir Jerusalempost, latihan ini sebagai bagian dari upaya berkelanjutan Komando Utara untuk meningkatkan kesiapan pasukan.
Dalam latihan ini Brigade Golani bekerja sama dengan pasukan infanteri, lapis baja dan artileri untuk menanggapi berbagai ancaman.
Latihan Brigade ke-55 ini dipimpin oleh Pusat Pelatihan Angkatan Darat.
IDF pada Kamis (27/6) merilis rekaman latihan pasukannya di utara.
Dalam video terlihat 2 Brigade IDF latihan siang sampai malam demi melawan Hizbullah.
Di sisi lain, Amerika Serikat sekutu utama Israel menyebut IDF tak akan sanggup melawan Hizbullah.
Kemampuan militer IDF dinilai tak cukup untuk menghadapi perang habis-habisan dengan kelompok militer Lebanon yang didukung Iran, Hizbullah.
Laporan Financial Times pada Rabu 26 Juni 2024, merujuk pada sumber-sumber pejabat Amerika Serikat menyebut Hizbullah sebagai aktor non-negara dengan persenjataan paling berat di dunia.
Mereka menyoroti sejumlah kesulitan yang akan dihadapi Israel jika bersikeras terlibat konflik militer dengan Hizbullah.
