Maden işçileri: "Haklıydık, birlik olduk, kazandık"

Eskişehir’den Ankara’ya uzanan 190 kilometrelik yürüyüş, günler süren açlık grevi ve polis müdahaleleri…

13 Nisan’da başlayan Doruk Madencilik işçilerinin eylemi, 28 Nisan’da tüm taleplerin kabul edilmesiyle sona erdi.

En az 110 maden işçisi, aylardır maaş alamamaktan, fazla mesailerinin ve geçmiş tazminatlarının ödenmemesinden ve sık sık rızaları dışında ücretsiz izne çıkarılmaktan şikayetçiydi.

İşçiler yalnızca birikmiş ücretlerini değil, çalışma koşullarının iyileştirilmesi ve iş güvencesi de talep ediyordu.

Dokuz gün süren açlık grevinin ardından gelen uzlaşma, Bağımsız Maden İş Sendikası’nın ifadesiyle “direnen madencinin zaferi” oldu.

BBC Türkçe, uzlaşma haberinin geldiği akşam Ankara’da madencilerle birlikteydi.
