FÄHRUNGLÜCK IN INDONESIEN: Rettungskräfte suchen verzweifelt nach ÜberlebendenDie Fähre „Virgo Transport 8“ ist in der Javasee vor Indonesien nach schwerem Seegang gekentert und gesunken. An Bord waren nach ersten Angaben 243 Menschen. Die Fähre war von Surabaya auf Java nach Banjarmasin auf Borneo unterwegs, als der Kontakt in der Nacht abriss. 115 Menschen konnten nach aktuellen Berichten gerettet werden, mindestens ein Mensch starb. Nach den noch vermissten Personen läuft eine groß angelegte Such- und Rettungsaktion mit Schiffen und Hubschraubern. Die Angaben zur Opferzahl und zum Manifest werden weiter überprüft.
