Menkominfo Budi Arie Gembok Akun Instagram setelah Ramai Desakan Mundur Buntut Peretasan PDN

Namun, Budi justru irit bicara dan belakangan mengunci akun Instagram pribadinya.
Pantauan Tribunnews pada Jumat (5/7/2024) pagi, akun Instagram Budi sudah dalam mode privat.
Ia sebelumnya sempat menanggapi desakan dari publik agar mundur dari jabatannya sebagai Menteri Kominfo.
Ditemui di Gedung DPR pada akhir Juni lalu, Budi meminta publik untuk menunggu keputusan apakah dirinya akan mundur atau tidak.
Menurutnya, munculnya petisi yang mendesak dirinya mundur sah-sah saja karena merupakan hak rakyat untuk bersuara.
Namun, Budi tidak mau berkomentar lebih lanjut soal petisi itu.
"Ah no comment kalau itu, itu hak masyarakat untuk bersuara," kata Budi di Gedung DPR pada 27 Juni 2024.
Adapun desakan agar Menkominfo mundur muncul setelah terjadi serangan siber di Pusat Data Nasional Sementara (PDNS).
Ia dinilai gagal menjaga keamanan data pemerintah yang terdapat di PDNS 2.
Atas kejadian ini, sudah ada satu pejabat Kominfo yang mundur pada Kamis (4/7/2024).
Dirjen Aplikasi Informatika Semuel A. Pangerapan mundur sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawabannya sebagai pengelola teknis PDN.
