JABAR, KOMPAS.TV - Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Bandung membenarkan adanya kasus pendaki Gunung Patuha yang meninggal dunia akibat hipotermia. Korban diduga pendaki pemula yang terjebak cuaca ekstrem.Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Bandung, Wawan Ridwan, menyebut korban dan rekannya sempat dilarang melakukan pendakian karena cuaca ekstrem, namun keduanya tetap melakukan pendakian.
Dinas Budpar Kabupaten Bandung sudah mengimbau untuk menutup sementara jalur pendakian selama cuaca ekstrem. Hal ini dilakukan untuk meminimalisasi kejadian yang tidak diinginkan.
