TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Sebuah video yang beredar di media sosial baru-baru ini menyampaikan informasi keliru tentang bahaya imunisasi bagi anak-anak.Narasi hoaks yang beredar menyebutkan imunisasi dapat merusak sel dan DNA sehingga menyebabkan penyakit autoimun, meningitis, dan lainnya.
Direktur Pengelolaan Imunisasi Kementerian Kesehatan RI dr Prima Yosephine MKM menegaskan, narasi itu sangat keliru dan menyesatkan.
Ia mengimbau masyarakat untuk mencari informasi yang valid dari sumber terpercaya.
“Narasi ini sangatlah salah. Imunisasi tidak dapat merusak sel dan DNA. Kami menyarankan masyarakat untuk mencari informasi yang benar dari website Kemenkes, WHO, CDC,” tegas Prima dilansir dari website resmi Kemenkes (7/7/2024).
Dijelaskan pula bahwa hingga saat ini tidak ada bukti ilmiah yang mengaitkan imunisasi dengan kerusakan sel DNA dan lainnya.
Faktanya, imunisasi adalah upaya pemberian vaksin untuk melindungi seseorang dari penyakit tertentu.
Dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh terhadap berbagai penyakit menular.(Tribun-Video.Com)
