Solo Flawless Equilibrium Dungeon (One Loadout Hunter) [Destiny 2]
Destiny 2 Renegades - Solo Flawless Equilibrium Dungeon on a Hunter w/ One Loadout Only / Solo Flawless Equilibrium Dungeon in Renegades / Equilibrium Guide Renegades. Just a video showing a Solo Flawless of the new Equilibrium Dungeon being cleared using a Hunter. Details below.00:00 - Load-in & Entrance
01:46 - Solo First Encounter "Defeat the Barant Imperium"
06:55 - Traversal
09:26 - Solo Harrow, Dredgen-Apprentice Boss Fight
21:37 - Traversal
26:48 - Solo Dredgen Sere Final Boss
And this rounds out all 3 classes for the solo flawless. Hunter was much more comfortable than I was expecting, even though in hindsight there's a few changes I'd make. I would swap off both Facet of Dawn and Snare melee, as both of those end up being redundant due to the artifact and Acrobat Dodge. Not sure what I'd put in place instead, maybe Sever melee and whatever other fragment. Either way it didn't make a huge difference to the end result, just wasted really.
The most dangerous part was actually the first encounter, where I underestimated the damage of the Behemoths and nearly wiped there (also on account of having double arc resist for final). The boss fights are both comfortable 3 phases, even though I think there's probably better ways to optimise the rotation. I know there's also some timing for Wolfsbane to preserve half of the nanites, but I mostly forgot about it and it didn't really make a difference. The animation to activate it still feels a little clunky to me, so I didn't want to do so twice. There's also transcendence which I didn't really make use of either, mostly on account of the swap time between the shadow ability and normal ability, grappling for unravel, casting tether, casting ascension, casting Wolfsbane... by the time you've done all that it feels like so much downtime that I just wanted to start actually damaging the bosses.
Long story short, there's a lot of optimisations to be done, but even without all of that it's still a very comfortable 3 phase on both bosses. I also really need to learn a better approach to finding the shadow seres on final, I feel like I always waste so much time searching.
With Hunter done and all 3 classes finished off, 1 phases done and all the other guides made, I think that's all I wanted to do in the dungeon for now. There's also feats run but that sort of feels like an all or nothing situation. Running 1 or 2 feats and it just feels like a slight step up from normal, running max feats feels like it'd likely be impossible to solo if it basically simulates contest with the limited phases and damage thresholds. So I likely won't bother with those for now. I was thinking there'd be a set master difficulty, but the feats seem to replace that.
Overall I was happy with the dungeon, and that it wasn't as long or tedious as the last few. It's certainly on the easier side, but I think that's welcomed after the very lengthy dungeons we've recently had. With reset later today I'll do the new GMs on all 3 classes, and once I get the Cyan crystal for Praxic Blade I'll finish off the 100% praxic blade upgrade guide and post that. Renegades has had a lot of good changes it feels like, I find myself enjoying the game a lot more than I did in Edge of Fate. There's been more to chase for, the dungeon is enjoyable, the new activity is enjoyable, Praxic Blade upgrades are fun to chase, masterworked weapons too. The only thing we're missing is weekly story beats (despite community sentiment towards them), but it's been a lot better than I hoped.
