Setelah mengonsumsi makanan dari Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG), di Kantor DPP PKB, Jakarta, Rabu (24/9/2025).
Mengutip dari Tribunnews, bahwa ia menegaskan peristiwa tersebut harus menjadi bahan evaluasi serius bagi pemerintah.
Menurutnya, berbagai masalah mulai dari keracunan hingga sistem distribusi yang lamban harus segera dibenahi.
Cak Imin juga meminta Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) benar-benar menuntaskan permasalahan yang nyata terjadi.
Ia menambahkan, PKB di DPR akan ikut mengawal evaluasi pelaksanaan program tersebut.
Saat ditanya mengenai isu penghentian MBG, ia menampik hal tersebut.
Cak Imin menegaskan hingga saat ini tidak ada rencana penyetopan.
Meski tidak menutup kemungkinan adanya perbaikan tata kelola dan prosedur baru.
Sebagai informasi, kasus keracunan dalam program MBG masih marak di sejumlah daerah.
Data pemerintah menunjukkan lebih dari 5 ribu penerima manfaat terdampak, dengan kasus terbanyak terjadi di Jawa Barat.
