Coldiretti a San Pietro per la tradizionale benedizione degli animali in occasione di Sant'Antonio
(Agenzia Vista) Una delegazione dei giovani di Coldiretti Lazio ha partecipato a San Pietro, a Roma, alla festa di Sant’Antonio Abate, patrono degli animali. L’evento è stato organizzato Coldiretti insieme all’Associazione Italiana Allevatori, con la tradizionale benedizione e la sfilata di asini, cavalli, mucche, pecore, capre, polli e conigli. Con trecento razze da allevamento censite dalla Fao, la Fattoria Italia rappresenta un patrimonio del Paese non solo economico ma anche di biodiversità, che va tutelato e valorizzato, garantendo un giusto reddito agli allevatori nazionali. “Uno straordinario patrimonio anche quello della Fattoria Lazio in termini economici e ambientali, con oltre 270 mila mucche e bufale, oltre 700 mila pecore e capre, più di 51 mila maiali, ma anche oltre a 50 mila tra cavalli e asini”, afferma Coldiretti. Presente il Cardinale Mauro Gambetti, Arciprete di San Pietro e Vicario di Sua Santità, assieme al presidente nazionale di Coldiretti Ettore Prandini, al segretario generale Vincenzo Gesmundo, al presidente dell’Aia Roberto Nocentini e all’amministratore delegato di Filiera Italia Luigi Scordamaglia.Coldiretti
