JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - NOC Indonesia tengah mempersiapkan diri untuk mengajukan Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah Youth Olympic Games 2030 dengan Jakarta yang direncanakan menjadi kota penyelenggara.Presiden NOC Indonesia, Raja Sapta Oktohari, menyebut proyek ini sebagai salah satu langkah percepatan agar cabang olahraga pencak silat semakin dikenal dunia dan dapat dipertandingkan di Olimpiade.
Selain itu, ajang ini juga akan menjadi bukti bahwa Indonesia mampu menggelar multi-event internasional, sekaligus sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk pencalonan sebagai tuan rumah Olimpiade mendatang.
