TRIP REPORT | This is an A350 in Miniature! | Air Baltic Airbus A220-300 | Vienna to Oslo
Air Baltic Trip Report flying from Vienna to Oslo (connecting in Riga) onboard 2 of the Air Baltic Airbus A220 on a beautiful summer day.After some exploration and planespotting at Vienna Airport Terminal 3, we boarded the Air Baltic A220 that would take us to Riga, Air Baltic's hub. We took off towards the north, crossed the Danube, and set course to the Czech Republic. We crossed all Poland and flew over Lithuania and Latvia before landing in Riga.
I had almost 6 hours at Riga airport between flights. Luckily Ait Baltic offers to purchase access to their business lounge. Those 6 hours went a lot faster and were much better used there, mainly editing videos for the channel.
The connecting flight to Oslo was as good as the first one. We took off on time from Riga and, after some amazing views of the city, we set course towards Oslo. We overflew the Baltic Sea and Sweden before starting our approach to Oslo, where we landed on time.
About the onboard service, I must say I fell in love with it. Air Baltic offers a pre-ordered meal service of very high quality. Expensive but with quality. We had breakfast on the first one and a beef steak BBQ on the second. What a delicious meal! Just incredible. Both of them. Perfect.
