Wall Street Found a Way to Sell You Bitcoin Without the Volatility (It Works)

Franklin Templeton, the $1.8 trillion asset manager, just launched two Bitcoin ETFs that combine the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq-100 with a 5% Bitcoin allocation and reinvest every dividend into Bitcoin. In this video I backtest FBEQ and FIBT against the S&P 500, the Nasdaq-100 and Bitcoin itself over 1, 3, 5 and 10 years, covering total returns, CAGR, maximum drawdown and Sharpe ratio, plus lump sum versus dollar cost averaging. The Bitcoin enhanced S&P 500 outperformed the index by more than 140% over ten years with far smaller drawdowns than holding Bitcoin outright. I also break down the one flaw in how these funds rebalance, what $17 billion of inflows would mean for Bitcoin buying pressure, and why products like this are the next step in institutional Bitcoin adoption.
