Media yang dikelola IRGC mengungkap kondisi Shadmani yang merupakan orang terdekat pemimpin tertinggi Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
"Saya masih hidup dan siap mengorbankan diri saya," demikian laporan yang dikaitkan dengan Shadmani seperti dikutip Times of Israel.
Shadmani disebut sedang dalam pemulihan karena luka serius akibat serangan Israel.
Namun kondisinya dilaporkan stabil.
Dalam pernyataan itu, Shadmani mengatakan bahwa ia masih hidup dan siap mengorbankan diri.
Ia pun menyampaikan terima kasih kepada dokter yang sudah menanganinya.
Sebelumnya, Israel mengklaim berhasil membunuh orang terdekat Khamenei yaitu Shadmani dalam serangan udara presisi di markas IRGC Teheran.
Kabar tewasnya Shadmani dalam serangan Israel terjadi lima hari setelah ia ditunjuk Iran untuk menggantikan pendahulunya yang tewas dalam serangan pada 13 Juni 2025 lalu.
Seperti diketahui, Israel menggempur habis-habisan sejak 13 Juni dengan dalih untuk melucuti senjata nuklir dan program rudal balistik Iran.
Namun Israel juga menyerang pemukiman penduduk hingga menyebabkan banyak korban tewas.
