US and 13 Nations Reject Beijing's ‘9 Dash Line’ Claims in South China Sea | Vantage on Firstpost|4K
China outraged after 14 nations, including the Philippines, the US, the UK and Japan commemorate 2016 ruling by UN tribunal which declared Beijing's nine-dash line and claims in the South China Sea Region were illegal. The 14 countries put out a joint statement asking China to stop its destabilising activities in the South China Sea Region. Manila fought Beijing at the Hague to get access to its own resources in the West Philippine Sea. But China has called the 2016 ruling "a worthless piece of paper", and has continued to bully its maritime neighbours.---
