Cambios en los derechos de los pasajeros de avión - Explicación
¿Sabías que España multó con 179 millones de euros a cinco low cost por cobrarte la maleta de mano… y que la Comisión Europea respondió abriéndole expediente a España por atreverse a hacerlo? Pues con ese percal de fondo, la UE acaba de cerrar —tras 13 añitos de debate— la mayor reforma de los derechos del pasajero aéreo. Y hay de todo: cosas buenas, cosas regulares y algún truño.Lo malo: la maletita de cabina te la pueden seguir cobrando. Solo te garantizan gratis el bulto pequeño que cabe bajo el asiento. Lo bueno: las aerolíneas tendrán que enseñarte el precio real DE PRIMERAS (se acabó el billete de 10€ que acababa costando 98€), no podrán cobrarte por sentar a tus hijos menores de 14 a tu lado, ni por corregir una letra de tu nombre, ni anularte la vuelta si no usaste la ida. Y si te retrasan 3 horas o más, sigues cobrando entre 250 y 600€.
¿Lo mejor? Que nada de esto entra en vigor todavía: cada país tiene un año para aplicarlo, así que hasta 2027 te la pueden seguir liando.
