Mario Roggero resta nel carcere di Bollate. Il Tribunale di sorveglianza di Torino ha respinto l’istanza presentata dalla difesa del gioielliere cuneese di 72 anni, condannato in via definitiva a 14 anni e nove mesi per aver ucciso due rapinatori e ferito un terzo durante l’assalto alla sua attività nell’aprile 2021. I legali avevano chiesto il differimento dell’esecuzione della pena in attesa della decisione del presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella sulla domanda di grazia e, in subordine, la detenzione domiciliare.Secondo i giudici, la sospensione della pena rappresenterebbe un’ipotesi con pochissimi precedenti. L’intervento della magistratura di sorveglianza rischierebbe inoltre di trasformarsi in una "quasi irrispettosa intrusione" in un ambito riservato al Capo dello Stato.
