Robert Eggers transforma el mito de Nosferatu en una elegía del deseo, culpa y redención. A través de una puesta en escena que revive el expresionismo alemán y el espíritu romántico del horror gótico, Eggers reinterpreta el mito vampírico no como simple relato de monstruos, sino como espejo de las estructuras patriarcales, religiosas y racionalistas que oprimen el alma humana.
Centra mi mirada especialmente en Ellen Hutter, figura trágica y deseante que encarna un conflicto entre la naturaleza reprimida y la moral victoriana. Este reinterpretación consigue que Nosferatu deje de ser una historia de redención divina para convertirse en una tragedia sobre la emancipación del deseo y la dignidad en el horror.
