Hochhausbrand in Mannheim – Bewohnerin (88) stirbt in den Flammen
Mannheim: Am Montagmorgen gegen 5:30 Uhr brach im obersten Stockwerk eines Hochhauses im Potsdamer Weg aus bislang ungeklärter Ursache ein Feuer aus. Für die 88-jährige Bewohnerin kam jede Hilfe zu spät – sie konnte nur noch tot aus der Wohnung geborgen werden. Weitere Personen blieben unverletzt. Aus Sicherheitsgründen wurde das Gebäude teilweise evakuiert. Betroffene Bewohner wurden in einem Wärmebus der rnv betreut.Die Feuerwehr war mehrere Stunden im Einsatz, um die Flammen und Glutnester vollständig zu löschen. Durch Löschwasser wurden auch darunterliegende Wohnungen beschädigt. Über die Brandursache und die Höhe des Schadens liegen bislang keine Informationen vor.
