Sebelumnya, milisi yang didukung Iran di Irak telah mengklaim sejumlah serangan beberapa bulan terakhir.
Pesawat tak berawak Irak beberapa kali menargetkan kota selatan Eilat.
Adapun pernyataan komite tersebut muncul sebagai respons terhadap meningkatnya ketegangan di sepanjang perbatasan.
Sebagaimana diketahui, Hizbullah hampir setiap hari menyerang pos militer Israel di sepanjang perbatasan.
Kelompok tersebut mengatakan bahwa serangan yang mereka lakukan sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap Palestina buntut genosida Zionis di Gaza.
