Video shows trans Lieutenant obliterating female opponents in military games
A towering trans Lieutenant in the Canadian Armed Forces is dominating the military’s women’s national volleyball tournament, smashing balls at blistering speeds into female opponents’ faces and knocking them off their feet during a military league match between Ottawa and Halifax.The 6-foot-plus biological male, competing in the 2026 CAF National Women’s Volleyball Championship, left one player reeling after a vicious spike straight to the face, highlighting the unfair physical advantage in women’s military sports. Juno News has identified the player as Royal Canadian Navy Sub-Lieutenant James “Jamie” Poirier.
The Canadian Armed Forces has not responded to Juno News’ requests for comment, but the official website states that the women’s league is meant to “reduce various barriers” that have traditionally hindered women’s “full and equal participation in sports.”
Poirier was listed as a “Game MVP” in a publication released following the championship.
The CAF did not confirm to Juno News whether it has a policy allowing trans players who identify as female to play in its women’s sports leagues, or the status of the injured player. Juno News attempted to contact Poirier but was unable to reach him in time for publication.
