Cegah Dampak Negatif Medsos, Sekolah di Gorontalo Larang Ponsel untuk Siswa SD
GORONTALO, KOMPAS.TV - Mengantisipasi penyalahgunaan media sosial, pihak sekolah di Kabupaten Gorontalo membatasi siswa menggunakan ponsel. Hal ini dilakukan agar siswa, terutama tingkat SD, fokus pada pelajaran.Pengguna media sosial terus meningkat, mulai dari orang dewasa hingga anak usia dini. Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Gorontalo mengimbau agar seluruh sekolah mengawasi dan membatasi siswa menggunakan ponsel, lantaran baru-baru ini siswa SD berkelahi hanya karena ketersinggungan di media sosial.
Pengawasan penggunaan ponsel di usia dini juga untuk menghindari dampak negatif dari media sosial terhadap pertumbuhan anak.
SD Negeri 3 Talaga, Kabupaten Gorontalo, telah menerapkan pengawasan penggunaan ponsel oleh siswa. Penggunaan ponsel hanya diperbolehkan saat kebutuhan dalam proses belajar mengajar.
Selain pengawasan di sekolah, peran orang tua diharapkan untuk membatasi penggunaan ponsel bagi anak-anak saat berada di luar jam sekolah.
