Dari narasi yang beredar disebut bahwa Roni dicopot lantaran menegur anak Wali Kota yang membawa mobil ke sekolah.
Video Roni berpamitan dengan guru dan para murid yang penuh haru pun viral di media sosial.
Setelah viral, Kepala Disdikbud Prabumulih, A Darmadi mengungkap penyebab Roni dicopot sebagai kepala sekolah.
Darmadi menyinggung kasus guru Penjas yang mengirim chat mesum pada siswi SMPN 1 Prabumulih akhir bulan lalu.
Ia pun membantah pencopotan Roni karena menegur anak wali kota yang membawa mobil ke sekolah.
"Bukan karena itu, tapi banyak hal dan kalau saya sebutkan nanti justru membuat malu yang bersangkutan," katanya kepada TribunSumsel.com ketika dikonfirmasi melalui telepon, Selasa (16/9/2025).
"Banyak sebetulnya, tapi salah satunya terkait yang viral chat mesum guru di bawah kepala sekolah itu di SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih beberapa waktu lalu, kalau kita ungkap semua khawatir membuat malu beliau," bebernya.
Darmadi menjelaskan, banyak alasan yang melatarbelakangi pencopotan tersebut, satu di antaranya terkait chat mesum guru.
Diketahui bahwa kasus guru mengirim chat mesum ke siswi di SMPN 1 Prabumulih heboh pada 28 Agustus 2025 lalu.
Sosok guru berinisial D disebut merupakan guru mata pelajaran yang juga diberi tugas sebagai pembina futsal.
D kemudian dimutasi dan dinonaktifkan sebagai guru.
Kasus tersebut diduga kuat menjadi penyebab Roni Ardiansyah dicopot dari jabatannya sebagai kepala sekolah.
Kini Roni akan menjadi guru biasa di SMPN 13 Prabumulih.
Sementara itu Roni mengaku ia dicopot dari jabatannya karena salah dalam mengambil kebijakan.
Namun ia enggan membeberkan kebijakan apa yang membuatnya sampai dimutasi.
