Putin Wants Biden to Win Second Term Even After Debate Disaster | Firstpost America

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he still prefers Joe Biden over Donald Trump as the next president of the United States. His remarks came while answering the question of whether he watched the US presidential debate that took place on June 27. Putin acknowledged that he watched fragments of the debate, adding that he has enough work to do and doesn't pay attention to what is happening in Washington. Meanwhile, the Russian leader also said that Trump appeared to be sincere when he proposed to put an end to the war in Ukraine during the debate. Trump had said that if re-elected in November, he will have the conflict settled before taking oath in January next year.
