Brand in Firmenpark in Edingen-Neckarhausen – Feuerwehr verhindert Schlimmeres

Edingen-Neckarhausen - Am späten Montagabend gegen 22:40 Uhr wurde über den Notruf ein Brand in einem Firmenpark in der Mannheimer Straße in Edingen-Neckarhausen gemeldet. Beim Eintreffen der ersten Einsatzkräfte war bereits eine deutliche Rauchentwicklung sichtbar.

Nach ersten Erkenntnissen brach das Feuer in einem Unternehmen auf dem Gelände aus. Durch das schnelle und koordinierte Eingreifen der Feuerwehr konnte der Brand rasch unter Kontrolle gebracht und eine weitere Ausbreitung auf benachbarte Gebäude verhindert werden.

Aus Sicherheitsgründen wurde ein angrenzendes Wohnhaus von den Einsatzkräften vorsorglich geräumt. Zunächst bestand die Befürchtung, dass sich noch eine Person im betroffenen Gebäude befinden könnte. Diese Sorge bestätigte sich im weiteren Verlauf glücklicherweise nicht.

Wie es zu dem Feuer kommen konnte, ist derzeit noch unklar. Auch zur Höhe des entstandenen Sachschadens liegen bislang keine Angaben vor. Die Ermittlungen zur Brandursache wurden durch das Polizeirevier Ladenburg aufgenommen. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
