De Africa Cup of Nations is het Afrikaans voetbalkampioenschap voor landenteams. De Afrika Cup is een tweejaarlijks toernooi waarin de 24 beste voetballanden uit Afrika met elkaar strijden om de titel.

Op de 34ste editie van het toernooi, dat volledig te volgen en te zien is op Ziggo Sport, maken onder meer de Feyenoorders Zerrouki (Algerije) en Minteh (Gambia) hun opwachting. Daarnaast schitteren een aantal bekende (ex-)eredivisiespelers zoals Ziyech, Mazraoui, Saibari, Amrabat (Marokko), Haller (Ivoorkust), Kudus (Ghana) en Onana (Kameroen). Ook bekende internationale sterren als Salah (Egypte), Osimhen (Nigeria), Hakimi (Marokko) en Mané (Senegal) zullen strijden om de belangrijkste prijs van het Afrikaanse continent.

De wedstrijden in de Afrika Cup zijn van 13 januari tot en met 11 februari exclusief te zien op Ziggo Sport, de sportzender van Nederland!
