Der Flughafen Frankfurt hat am Wochenende das neue Terminal 3 eingeweiht, das ab dem 23. April schrittweise den Betrieb für bis zu 19 Millionen zusätzliche Passagiere pro Jahr aufnimmt. Das privat finanzierte Großprojekt setzt auf modernste Sicherheitstechnik (CT-Scanner) und eine vollautomatische Sky Line-Bahn, die Reisende in wenigen Minuten vom Fernbahnhof ins neue Terminal bringt. Von Anwohnern und Umweltschutzverbänden gibt es Kritik.
