1963'te Urfa'da bir tepeye çıkan arkeologlar topraktan uçları görünen dev taşlara baktı ve "Orta Çağ mezarlığı" deyip geçti. O tepe Göbekli Tepe'ydi ve o taşlar 11 bin yıldan eskiydi. Stonehenge'den 6 bin, piramitlerden 7 bin yıl önce, dünyada daha tek bir tarla yokken avcı toplayıcılar beş metrelik taşlar oydu, sonra da bu yapıları kendi elleriyle toprağa gömdü.
