Pasalnya kehadiran Kim Jong Un sebagai Pemimpin Tertinggi Korea Utara (Korut) dalam parade militer di China adalah yang pertama kalinya sejak 66 tahun.
Terakhir, kehadiran Pemimpin Tertinggi Korut dalam parade militer dilakukan oleh kakeknya, Kim Il Sung pada 1958.
Diketahui pula bahwa Presiden Prabowo turut hadir sebagai tamu undangan dalam pertemuan tersebut.
Total ada 27 raja, presiden dan pemimpin tertinggi sejumlah negara yang hadir dalam parade militer di China tersebut.
