Bestimmte Geflüchtete dürfen Familien bald nicht mehr nachholen
Der Bundestag hat die Aussetzung des Familiennachzugs für Geflüchtete mit eingeschränktem Schutzstatus beschlossen. Für zwei Jahre soll das Kontingent für Angehörige von in Deutschland lebenden Geflüchteten mit subsidiärem Schutz nicht mehr erfüllt werden.Der Nachzug für Menschen mit eingeschränktem Schutzstatus ist – anders als für andere anerkannte Flüchtlinge – jetzt schon beschränkt auf 1.000 Angehörige pro Monat. Künftig sollen subsidiär Schutzberechtigte, zu denen viele Bürgerkriegsflüchtlinge gehören, nur noch in Härtefällen Ehepartner, minderjährige Kinder und im Fall unbegleiteter Minderjährige die Eltern nachholen dürfen. Subsidiär Schutzberechtigte haben keinen vollen Flüchtlingsstatus. In Deutschland sind dies etwa 380.000 Menschen, vor allem Syrer:innen.
