Per anni, Edmund Kemper è stato l’immagine della calma, dell’intelligenza e persino della gentilezza.Un uomo alto più di due metri, dalla voce pacata e dai modi educati.
Ma dietro quello sguardo apparentemente rassicurante, si nascondeva uno dei serial killer più spietati e disturbanti della storia americana.
Tra il 1972 e il 1973, Ed Kemper trasformò la California in un teatro di orrore:
ragazze autostoppiste, giovani universitarie, e infine… sua madre.
